Extra Credit – Using Extra Credit Assignments

Example:

1. Add an assignment worth (0) zero points
2. Enter the student score for students who completed the assignment

Notes: The score will not be calculated for students who did not complete the assignment.

If a student received 70 out of 100 points possible in a test category, the would normally receive a grade of 70 / 100 = 70%

However, if you enter the extra credit as an assignment with 0 points (see Extra Credit – Using Bonus Points) in the test category, and the student receives 10 points out of (0) zero possible points, the score would be calculated as 10 bonus points and their grade would be 80 / 100 = 80%.
