EClass Grades Preferences (v6.93)

 

 

These are the standards for setting Preferences

  1. Open the eClass Grades Program
  2. From the Edit menu, select Preferences

Using the drop-down list select and change the Preferences as follows:

a)     Autofill Alternate Grades

·        Select - no grading periods

·        Deselect - single grading period with alternate grades enable

·        Deselect – all grading periods with alternate grades enabled

b)     Automatic Export

·        Uncheck – Allow automatic export when closing a class

·        Check – Allow automatic export when saving a class

·        Uncheck – Ask before exporting

c)      Automatic Import

·        Check – Allow automatic imports and roster imports when opening a class

·        Uncheck – Ask before importing

d)     Chancery SMS Class Conversion

·        Uncheck – User Generic Template

·        Uncheck – Include Comment List

e)     Default Folders

·        Class backups 1 – 5 (not used)

·        Opening and saving classes

a.      Highlight “Opening and saving classes”

b.      Click the Select Folder button

c.      From the Drives drop-down list, select the “G” drive

d.      Locate and double-click your folder in the list

e.      Click the Select button

·        Opening and saving styles

a.      Highlight “Opening and saving styles

b.      Click the Select Folder button

c.      Verify that your teacher folder on the “G” drive is selected, if so go to step “f.” otherwise, continue with step “d.”

d.      From the Drives drop-down list, select the “G” drive

e.      Locate and double-click your folder in the list

f.        Click the Select button

f)        Student Pictures

·        Defaults to local drive.  However, it is not used so no change is necessary.
